I trained at The Institute of Psychosynthesis, London, where I gained Diplomas in both Counselling and Psychotherapy; and an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.
I am accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The Association of Psychospiritual Psychotherapists (APP).
I work to the Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct of the UKCP.
Experience
I have been working in private practice since qualifying as a counsellor in 2000.
Until recently I worked as a counsellor in schools for children with emotional and behavioural problems (EBD) and as the manager of residential and crisis mental health services both in local government and the NHS.
As well as my one-to-one work I facilitate men’s groups, work with adult survivors of the public boarding school system and supervise counsellors.
